The interview process was very straightforward and positive experience overall. I applied via a LinkedIn job post. Was contacted by the recruiter within a week. We had a short call to align on the job profile, expectations and interview process.
The interview process included 4 rounds: Live Coding, System Design, Team Interview, Leadership interview.
Live Coding: I was asked to solve a string related coding problem in Javascript. Cannot say much about the question particularly, but it was an interesting question that touched on regular string operations and also DSA and problem solving. The problem itself was Leetcode medium level. The feedback from this round was very positive.
System Design: If you're interviewing for Miro, you should know how Miro works. I was asked to design MVP for a realtime collaboration board. The focus is mainly on Frontend. I had a strategy planned on how to approach System design questions in general, just applied that. I think I did very well in this round. The feedback was very positive.
Team Interview, Leadership Interview: Both of these interviews were non-technical, mostly behavioural interviews, each trying to assess you on different aspects of your behavioural skills. I did well, but not as good as the technical rounds. The feedback was still positive with some feedback around where I could have done better.
