Was contacted by a contract recruiter about a week after applying. Call was VERY informal, but recruiter explained that my resume and phone demeanor showed I was a good fit. Call was rushed, recruiter very distracted, and I didn't have to answer many questions- kept saying he knew I was qualified. I asked a few questions that went beyond job description. Was advised that either he or the hiring Sales Manager would call me in 1-2 weeks for the next interview- but to reach out at the 1.5 week mark if I didn't hear anything. I emailed recruiter at 1.5 weeks...no response. I called him directly and LVM 3 days later...no response. This all took place over a month ago now- I never heard anything back, no call or rejection letter rec'd, and app still says "under review" on their site. I've moved on- not interested in working somewhere that moves at this snail's pace. Very inconsiderate waste of time to not at least keep candidates somewhat updated (i.e.- return the email YOU asked me to send!) or simply cut them loose.

I was contacted by a recruiter asking me to apply for the position if I was interested. I then spoke with her on the phone. She said she was new to the position and it showed. I thought I did a good job explaining how my background fit the position description. She said she sent my information to the hiring manager. In addition, I did a skills test screening. About 2 days later, I received an email from the recruiter with a question that was written by the hiring manager asking about my background. I wrote a follow up, explaining how my background was almost exactly what the job description asked for. I never heard back or was asked anything further. The process seemed to be waste of time for all involved. I'm not sure why I was contacted if I wasn't going to even get a phone interview with the hiring manager. The recruiters clearly need to spend more time researching the position.

5 interviews starting with HR via Skype. Meeting at Seatac Hilton. Had to pay $15.00 parking each time I met there, 3 times at that venue. Mostly interested in me and past experience, some behavioral questions. Not difficult at all.
