First, a virtual round interview with a woman who was sweet, but her interviewing skills were not the best. Next was the final round of interviews in Calhoun. That day was hectic; their complex is confusing to navigate, and they give confusing instructions on how to get to the building you are interviewing in. I think there needs to be better signage. I expected for all my interviews to be in person, but when I get there, I only have one in-person interview and the rest are on teams. There was no need for me to fly out there if I was only going to speak to one person face-to-face. Additionally, I did not even get a tour of the building and did not feel as welcomed as I felt at an interview with another company I had the week before. If you are going to make someone take time out of their schedule to fly out for interviews, then they should at least tour the facility and have in-person interviews.
They did not offer to reimburse me for any money I spent on food, and my first interviewer was late which made everything feel rushed. Overall, I am not upset I did not get the offer, I did not click with the company and knew I would not be a fit. The job I got offer from had a much better candidate experience and I think Mohawk could learn from them.
