Interview
Typical HR screening process for the first interview. Not any real difficult questions. HR person liked what I expressed for experience and interest in the position and would pass along my information (and would think a recommendation to interview) to the hiring manager. However, the Koch HR person never replied nor was I sent a rejection email. I tried three times to send a general, professional follow-up email to the HR person and never got a response back. If a possible candidate has any sort of personal interaction with a company (i.e., interview) then the company owes it to the candidate to at least send a rejection email to indicate they are not moving forward. Especially if the candidate (like me) is unemployed and really does need to understand where they stand in the process. I've hired people in the past and at the very least sent a rejection email to anyone I interacted with. Especially easy today, when rejections are automatically sent by a 1 second mouse-click from an ATS.
