I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at MongoDB (Ciudad de Mexico) in Nov 2022
Interview
I was approached via LinkedIn by a MongoDB recruiter, I was asked the regular questions that CSMs are asked. At the end of the interview she (the recruiter) told me about MongoDB and asked me if I wanted to get to the next step in the hiring process, I answered yes. So she said she'd be getting in touch with the hiring manager and would send me a date for the next interview via email. However, I received a notice of rejection a few days later. It seemed rather unprofessional. Normally, either you're told they will be reviewing your candidacy further and would notify you if you made it to the next step, or they would tell you during the interview that they are looking for someone with more (experience, expertise, etc). Not a good experience in the way she handled it and she was not friendly at all.

Question 1
I was asked how big is my portfolio (number of clients), ARR, whether I have quarterly meetings with my clients, whether I make presentations to them to show them the value of what they have with our product, I was asked to walk her through my 5+ years experience as a CSM, how and why I moved through new positions, etc.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at MongoDB (Madrid)
Interview
Overall, the process was engaging, informative, and went smoothly through the peer interview, which I felt went exceptionally well. However, I was disappointed to receive a rejection email without any explanation or feedback. Having prepared thoroughly and performed strongly during the interview, I would greatly appreciate any insights you could share on areas for improvement. It was a waste of time.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at MongoDB (Singapore) in Feb 2025
Interview
Lengthy interview process with multiple departments. Include both technical and sales/business. Starts of with HR, Hiring Manager, peers, and then other departments like solutions architect, sales, etc... Quite average except for the technical part, which can be a bit difficult if you're not from the data space
