Ghosted after recruiter screening with absolutely zero update. Then asked to schedule the first round. Decided to not pursue. The CTO seems like they have a massive ego from reviews. With how they did not provide timely udpates, this reflects what they think about their employees.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Mujin (Tokyo) in Nov 2022
Interview
There is an HR round, manager round, an assignment, and then a couple of rounds with the management like the CTO. The manager round mostly checks the level the knowledge base and explains in detail about the problem that they are solving.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked mostly open ended questions about how I would approach a problem of grasping and picking etc. Also, asked me some linear algebra and basic maths.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Mujin
Interview
Ask about computer vision courses you've taken. Beware that the interviewer thinks only camera related project is their computer vision, lidar works don't count. Ask about resume and some computer vision problems. Discuss a pick-n-place problem. The interviewer is harsh. Whatever I provided a possible solution, I got denied with edge cases and got interrupted. He wants a practical solution which can generalize all the cases as much as possible. I am not an expert for 6D pose estimation for textrueless objects.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Some common camera geometry questions, such essential, fundamental, homography, camera matrix, etc. The interviewer asks everything in detail. Request a general solution of pick-n-place for a pile of same objects. Object could be textured or textureless. The interviewer wants the candidate to propose a "complete solution" in every detail, not just experimental concepts. For example. Which hardware to use? Anything before runtime and during runtime? Which feature extractions method? How to estimate 6D pose?
