Applied on company website and contacted by a recruiter. Interviewed within a week. Interview went very well. I expected to make it to next round. I received a canned email that not only didn’t provide feedback (normal) but it didn’t even invite me to apply for future positions. After multiple hours prepping for the interview and studying up on company, I thought this was a poor practice, but it tells me a lot about their interest in me as a candidate. I was more than qualified for the role. Because the market is so tough, I agreed to a significant salary cut. Something is off about their culture. I feel like a dodged a bullet.
