Have you ever been rushed through the interview process because the company was excited about you, to the extent that you completed the interview process in a hot car WHILE CAMPING, only to be ghosted? I have! Thanks NEOGOV! I thought we'd be a really good fit, but after following up with your recruiter and hiring manager 5 times, and receiving simply a canned email response weeks later, I feel like I may have dodged a bullet.
As an experienced recruiter myself, I know 10+ recruiters in the field looking for work right now, including me, that would have handled this situation with more efficiency, class, and respect for the candidate experience. It's a bummer to see recruiters continue to hold down jobs so poorly, when the job market is so full of excellent recruiters that are looking for work.
Initial interview process was nice and friendly. It was stated that i should hear back from them in a week. After the week, I followed up two (2) times via email with no response. After about two (2) to three (3) weeks of no response, i was ultimately GHOSTED! Doesn't feel great and i can say i dodged one with this company!

Question 1
Tell me about your experience and how it relates to the position you applied to?
I’m disappointed in the interview process and the waiting period for a response. I don’t understand why companies feel the need to interview with half the staff just to figure out if you want to move forward with a qualified candidate.
