The process from when I submitted my application to when I heard a decision was over 2 and a half months. I was first contacted for a phone interview, then came in a couple of weeks later for the first in-person interview. It was then over a month before I was asked to come back in for a second in-person interview. It took a week to hear back after my second interview—was not offered a position. I asked for feedback from my interview but was told they do not discuss interview results. The people I met with were all incredibly nice and I got a good impression from the company during my visit. I was very put off by how long the process took, however. It gave me the perception that things are not in order and made me feel under-valued as a candidate. Would have been hesitant to accept a position with NRC for this reason.

I interacted with pleasant, friendly people and retained a favorable impression of NRC even though I didn't receive a job offer. The interviewers were prepared, and they took things in stride when they had to adjust their schedule. People seemed to like their jobs and to be proud of the work that NRC does. Managers have quite a bit of flexibility in how they conduct interviews, so they vary from department to department. Everyone in HR was particularly friendly, and answered emails promptly. I felt comfortable asking them questions.
