I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at NVA (Dallas, TX) in Jun 2021
Interview
The interview with Human Resources was a delight. It was when I got to the Director interv iew that things went horribly. I was asked to review a financial document that was so small and hard to see that I struggled to read it. I was given merely minutes to analyze the data and give report. Then when I did not meet the Director's qualifications he pretty much hung up on me. It was awful.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at NVA (Phoenix, AZ) in Mar 2021
Interview
Another review stated that they wished the recruiter had the professional courtesy to follow through as promised, regardless of whether or not they chose to move forward with me as a candidate. I absolutely agree with this statement, I am disappointed that the company cannot communicate even when it might be a difficult conversation.
I applied and immediately interviewed with a recruiter. She was very friendly and the interview went well. She told me that I will hear from the Director in Phoenix within 5 to 6 business days for the second interview. She mentioned that if I do not hear from him to please let her know (this probably should have been a red flag). The Director emailed me within a few days and requested a phone interview. Phone interview went well and he asked for an in person interview the next week. The in person interview went really well, with him agreeing that my leadership background fit well with their company and leadership style.
He told me for the next step he wanted me to meet with a Hospital Manager to tour one of their animal hospitals. After that, my steps would be to meet with the Hospital Managers and then with other Regional Managers to make sure "our personalities match". He said he would reach out to me the next day to set up the hospital location and I never heard from him again. I emailed him with no response. I emailed the recruiter, who again was very friendly, and said she would see where they were in the process and get back to me. Ghosted again.
I am concerned with the lack of communication. These were long interviews, well over an hour, but they don't have the courtesy to decline the position. If you are going to have interviewees go through multiple steps at least let them know you are moving on to someone else.
