I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NVA (Atlanta, GA) in Oct 2023
Interview
It was unstructured, very easy going, very casual. 3 rounds of what was supposed to be phone calls. 1 with recruiter, 1 with a peer, 1 with the hiring manager. It turned out to be 1 with a recruiter, to which he did not want to talk on zoom but I joined the meeting before he could call my cell phone. Then 2 different peer interviews from different departments. Not one person could actually describe the job, responsibilities, the challenges, the goals to start. Nothing! It was all about how people got along…over the phone…. In 30 minutes. I got a lot of ummmm, with an unprepared interviewer on the other end of the phone. Even still, it was such a unicorn role for the equine team that I really wanted to be apart of this growing team any way I could. The recruiter was the point of contact, I had no emails for other interviewers and no way to follow up. The recruiter did not follow through on any time or communication commitments he made with me. I had to chase down updates the entire month of the process that I was told would be 2 weeks or less. The team would not communicate via email, only text. Very unprofessional. They would not give me a clear salary range. It is really unfortunate because this company could do so much good in the industry, if they only knew how to acquire the right people.
