The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NeoXam (Parsippany, NJ) in Aug 2019
Interview
Took a 45 min phone interview process, covered everything about background and how can I be a fit. They have technology all they need is a guy who can implement that in clients location. Customizing the system to client requirement. For that they need Scripting, Linux, Aws and everything.
Interviewer took 4 weeks after the interview to get back, saying they won’t proceed. I already accepted an offer at a big bank till then anyway. I am aware why they didn’t want to proceed
1) Salary - they don’t want to pay much, even no where close to industry standards. For cheap price you will get cheap skill sets. All they are looking for is somebody who could implement, you don’t need to be much smart to do that. It’s not like Data science or ML but consider a SAP implementation job.
2) Sponsorship - I asked for sponsorship, interviewer said Yes. But company can save sponsorship cost by hiring people who don’t need one, and it’s not hard to find not that good talent. But a Yes boss person, who will implement.
Interviewer was good, but he gave me a sense that job is going to be very tedious and little to less innovative. Job is for you if you like to travel, work with multiple client and are not inclined towards innovation, since they already have everything in place.
