The process took 8 weeks. Two lightweight interviews; one with HR Director and one with Hiring Manager. Basic interview questions. They don't follow-up with references but rely almost exclusively on 3rd party personality assessment for management candidates. The assessment is 500 plus on-line questions and 4 hours on-site at the assessors office consisting of a 90 minute interview, writing test (with a pencil :( and more timed multiple choice fill-in the little circle with a pencil questions. You will be asked to understand the meaning of words you've never seen before and time will run out. When I asked if anybody ever finishes this portion of the test, the assessor said "no, never"...what's the point to that? The management people from the Nerdery are very passive aggressive so be direct and don't be afraid to keep following up as the HR Director will get back to you. Management won't get back to you. Whatever you do, don't send them your ideas thinking they will be impressed and hire you as they will use the ideas and not acknowledge you. Again, passive aggressive).
