A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn prompting me to apply for this position. Although it sounded good, I didn't feel it was a 100% fit for me, but I gave it the chance.
1st interview with external recruiter: he was nice but I had the feeling that he simply didn't understand half the things I explained to him. He still thought I was a good fit and referred me to NBS.
2nd interview with NBS HR and Team Leads: I was scheduled to interview with 3 people via Teams. Unfortunately I had to reschedule it due to technical issues (I was simply unable to join the Teams meeting).
The actual interview went well and the team seemed nice but then I got zero feedback from Nestlé or the recruiter. The least you could do - even if you don't wish to provide specific feedback - is to communicate to the candidate that they weren't successful and not leave them hanging forever.
In a nutshell, it was just a ridiculous waste of time for everyone. I would have rather applied by myself to a different position they had open that I thought it was more suitable based on my past work experience.
In any case, I don't think I will be applying to any other open roles in this company, due to their complete indifference shown towards their candidates. That pretty much reflects on how management will treat you once you get the job. Bad gut feeling... good riddance.
