I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at New Relic in Jul 2025
Interview
The process started with an online assessment consisting of a mix of multiple-choice questions and coding problems. After clearing the assessment, I had two technical interview rounds followed by an HR discussion. In the first technical round, the interviewer focused on core computer science concepts such as OOPs, DBMS, and data structures (arrays, linked lists, etc.), along with questions related to my academic projects. The second technical round was more project-oriented, where I was asked to walk through my projects, explain the tech stack I used, discuss practical implementation details, and answer questions related to version control. Finally, the HR round covered general questions about my background, interests, and motivation for the role. Overall, the interviewers were very professional, supportive, and made me feel comfortable throughout the process.
