I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at New Relic (London, England) in Oct 2019
Interview
I had a series of phone calls with various people from the relevant team, as well as the recruiter.
The interviews themselves were fine, and the people really nice. However the organisation of the interview process was farcical, and the recruiter really poor at communicating.
He failed to attend the first two scheduled calls we had, and then he booked in a call with the hiring manager without confirming anything with me, leading to me receiving a surprise interview call whilst walking to the gym...
From there it was a drawn out hassle of further cancelled or missed interviews and long delays between emails, meaning that it took 5-6 weeks just to have 3 phone interviews. Eventually I accepted another role elsewhere.

Question 1
Mostly talking through my experience and the current challenges at New Relic.
The interview process was super efficient. The recruiter Aisha was very thorough in explaining the process and the job description. The interview panel was also very courteous and it was a two way conversation wherein both were trying to understand if it’s a mutually beneficial opportunity. Follow up were also prompt and Aisha was always available for any questions or concerns.
