      Marketing Interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at New Relic (San Francisco, CA)

      Interview

Started the interview process a couple months ago and never heard back, even after the proactive and eloquent follow up. Had multiple interviews and internal referral and still haven't heard about next steps. I've been interviewing a bit lately and find that it's consistent in the Bay Area for company's to provide input or communication on next steps after an interview, regardless of an offer. I've heard great things about the company and felt the interview process was fairly organized but not sure how or if I'll hear about next steps, not even a "thank you but we've decided to extend our search email"...

      Question 1

The interview questions were good and relevant, not too difficult or unexpected, but definitely not easy. Came in several times and met with several people. Good vibe there.

Candidate - Please let me know directly if you still haven't heard back from us. We try to get back to everyone promptly, within two days of any action at our end. If we haven't closed the loop with you, we have a bug in the process and I'd really like to hear about it. Mea cupla! Thanks very much for interviewing with us and very best wishes in your search! Application

      Interview

Applied online. The recruiter was nice and informative. The call with the hiring manager was a disaster. They are a new hire, so I guess they had something to prove. They grilled me with questions that were not relevant to the role or my background. Interrupted me several times, so many red flags throughout the call.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

It was a rapid fire of questions being asked about three different ways with interruptions along the way.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at New Relic (New York, NY) in Nov 2021

      Interview

5 or 6 interviews with different members of the team and stakeholders. Common questions with nice people. The recruiter is in constant contact with you and it was a smooth and easy process that took a couple of weeks.

      Question 1

      Q. What are your weaknesses? Q. Why do/did you leave your last company? Nothing too unusual

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at New Relic (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2018

      Interview

1 Phone interview, 2 video interviews with the last being with many people. Whole process took about a week before an offer and went very smoothly. Interviewers didn't grill you with questions, they used a select few questions to guide conversation. Felt like a 2-way conversation, not an interrogation.
