The process took 2 months. I interviewed at New Relic in Feb 2022
Interview
Usual process...recruiter screening followed by video calls with team member, hiring manager, and a final call with a cross-functional team where you go through a mock customer presentation. Set up was a bit challenging as I had to reach out to the scheduler at different points to remind them we need to set something up. On the final call I was led to believe I would hear from the recruiter early the following week. 2 weeks later and nothing. I sent an email to the recruiter and hiring manager. Another week has gone by with no response. I can only assume being ghosted is their way to say I didn't get the role. A shame because I truly enjoyed the conversations and the people I met during the process.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at New Relic
Interview
Initial contact made by recruiter. After a screening, they connected me to meetings with the hiring manager, team members, VP and a presentation. Standard for the CSM industry. Recruiter was responsive and happily answered any questions.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at New Relic (London, England) in Feb 2021
Interview
Very negative experience as the recruiter contacted me after 3 weeks following my application and informed me that I was through the next stage, which would have taken 2 more weeks to be arranged as the hiring manager was going on holiday the day after.
I've never heard back from the recruiter although I tried to follow-up via email.
Really poor handling and I would recommend that New Relic selects its recruiters better and instruct them to be more professional as this person wasted my time and led me on.

Question 1
Nothing really specific to be honest.
I did my research so I knew the company well, however, the recruiter still went on a pitch that essentially repeated what I'd just said.
No competency based questions, I think I was used as cannon fodder for the recruiter to hit his internal target of heads to present to the hiring manager. He then disappeared. very unprofessional behaviour.
