Interview
I had a very positive interview process with New Relic. It consisted of 2/3 15 - 30 min phone interviews and one on-site where I met with 4 people for 30 minutes each. I really enjoyed my interview experience because I felt like the interviews were a conversation as opposed to an interrogation. The people I spoke with at all levels were very clear in what they were looking for and asked questions that were relevant to the role and to the company. They were each also very personable and passionate about what they do which made me feel comfortable being myself allowed me to envision myself as part of the team/company. As it is now my 1st week as an SDR with New Relic, I can say my interviews were an accurate representation of what the team/company style is like. In addition, the training/preparation provided is awesome. The team really does a great job supporting their new hires and making sure they have all the tools to be successful down the line. Super happy with my decision to join the team!!
I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at New Relic (Atlanta, GA) in Aug 2021
Interview
The interview process spanned over 4 weeks. Initially was contacted by a recruiter and decided to take into my own hands. Sent out a cold email to the VP of sales. That went great, and initiated interview to be setup. Thereafter I interviewed with the SDR manager, that too went well. I was then assigned a project to be completed and then schedule a final interview. There was an apparent turnover in management the week of my interview. This manager was brand new to the company, very knowledgeable and role played cold calling a product unrelated to the company. Hard sell but was told I would hear back from someone. It’s been over a week and I’ve sent multiple emails out.

Organised a Recruiter interview, the process took 30 minutes conversation went well and was told he would be passing my details on to go forward to the next round.
Waited for an email, it never came through so I emailed for a follow up to which I got no response.
Job Seekers take hours every day applying to the right jobs, doing interviews etc, it should be common courtesy to let someone know the outcome. If I am not what you are looking for now, that's fine but maybe I will be in 2 or 3 years?
This doesn't reflect well on New Relic as a company and is quite disheartening for people putting the time in to prepare for interviews.

Interview
Rescheduled the interview 3 times until I had found another job. I was genuinely interested but I do wish not to be stood up without notice 2 times. Rescheduling interview due to illness or any other reason is totally fine but scheduling a video call getting stood up, the applicant reaches out and then this happens again, is disappointing! As an applicant you must not miss an interview without cancellation or a sending a message, so I do think this applies to companies too nowadays!
