I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at New Relic (Dublin, Dublin) in Sep 2019
Interview
There is an initial recruitment screening followed by a written exercise - considered the 2nd stage in the process. The entire leadership of the organisation is engaged from the 2nd stage onwards. Once the written exercise has all the required approvals the candidate is brought in for a 4 hour interview where they meet with the entire senior leadership individually. The interview is competency based interview. The questions included a detailed cross section into operations knowledge, strategic approach, people management etc. The team make you feel at ease throughout the interview. Four hours is a long time but each interview has a different focus so the time passes by quickly.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you were misunderstood and how did you deal with that?
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at New Relic (Dublin, Dublin) in Sep 2017
Interview
I really enjoyed the interview process and it was different to what I had experienced before. First up you are asked to complete a written exercise, in my case a promotion recommendation and use your imagination to make it a compelling argument.
Second stage was more intense and consisted of a 4.5 hour interview, where I was interviewed by the VP, Exec Director and another 6 managers within the org. Some were onsite and some remote, the questions were standard behavioural management style ones. It was clear from the offset that the applicant needed to be the correct fit within New Relic's #datanerd culture.
Following the interview, I was invited to have lunch to meet and greet the team. Almost immediately after that I received an offer.
