I applied through college or university. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (New York, NY) in May 2012
Interview
The interview was much more difficult than I had previously experienced regarding past internship interviews I'd been on prior to this. I'd say that this perspective was more based upon my anxiety, and not having known what to expect. I was interviewed 2-3 times in person, which was followed by a background and drug screening.

My interview experience at NYP was pretty Straight forward, common typical behavioral Questions. Nothing technical was asked. Average difficulty. Nothing over the top or anything too crazy. Definitely felt comfortable when speaking to the hiring manager, did not feel like a suffocating experience.
I had a number of interviews to see if I was going to be selected, and to assess my strengths and weaknesses and see if I could be a fit with the company and if they wanted to hire me as an intern
Easy interview process would recommend to anyone applying in the hospital. its a good place to work and to grow, simple interview with recruiter and than with the heads of dept
