NewsCred interview questions

After getting referred to the position of Full Stack Software Engineer, I was made to first talk to senior recruiter for the job/culture fit. Next step was a 1-hour technical phone screen with an engineer. Clearing that round led to 2 more interviews with an engineer and VP of engineering for more questions on my background, experience and NewsCred. The final set of interviews were with a senior engineer and CTO. After few days of the last 2 rounds, got an email from the recruiter that they decided to fill the position with an alternate candidate. While the above process seems very straightforward and the interview experience with each NewsCred employee was really impressive, I was hugely let down by the recruiters. They did a pathetic job in moving things forward where in I had to followup multiple times to schedule each interview. Both the recruiters I worked with showed zero engagement and wouldn't even bother replying to followup emails. Finally, after getting positive reviews in all rounds (including final 2 rounds where CTO was interested and wanted to talk more) I got an email in an automated way that didn't justify why I was not selected. As usual, there was no response to the last request for the feedback too. I was really hoping to get this exciting opportunity and enjoyed interacting with all the technical employees of the org but sadly got affected by poorly functioning HR department. I really hope the org doesn't get affected by such repetitions in the longer run.

Initial phone interview with Head of Talent Acquisition - high level overview of the company and my background. Onsite interview with Head of Talent Acquisition, VP of People, VP of Client Services and other teammates. Lasted a few hours, asked a lot of good questions, tour of the office, lunch with a team member.
