The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nexient (New York, NY)
Interview
Applied online. Started with a phone screen. Then a technical video interview. Wasn't too technical... Just asked some basic Ç# trivia since that was my resumes strength. Super friendly and casual.
Then they invited me to the office where I interviewed with a technical manager and then in a separate interview with HR.
Both seemed to focus on my resume and how I keep up with changing tech. Very casual. No white boarding or fizz buzz.
They gave me a reasonable salary offer. I was able to negotiate a sign on bonus on top.
First round is technical and coding round-Forst round was about one hour. Started with Java questions and then spring, hibernate, database, pipelines, load balancing and other project related questions. Most of them are from your previous experience.
Second round is behavioral and situational questions.
Interviewer was very friendly and gave time to me to settle in and then slowly went in to the questions.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Nexient in Dec 2021
Interview
They scheduled a quick phone screening then scheduled another 1-hour video meeting later. Before the video meeting day, they sent an email saying there will be another 1-hour video meeting before the previously scheduled one which conflicted with my schedule so I asked them to make the additional meeting later. They agreed to just do the original meeting. I joined the meeting and waited 30 minutes to see no one. Horrible planning and not appreciate the time of the candidate at all.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nexient (New York, NY) in Aug 2021
Interview
Spoke with two hiring managers who interviewed me about my skill set in sort of a verbal tech screening process. The company made me a low-ball offer far less than what we'd discussed earlier in the process, and their benefits are awful. I was a bit annoyed that they wasted my time, and insulted that a company of this size would be so cheap.
