Had a good experience and was asked a coding question at the end. Simple fizz buzz question. Overall was a pleasant experience but found the process to take far too long.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Nexient (Ann Arbor, MI) in Aug 2020
Interview
Applied to the Ann Arbor office. Process took one week and consisted of a short HR screen and one hour behavioral and technical interviews.
Behavioral interview was just typical behavioral questions (i.e. tell me about a time when...) with the last 15 minutes of the interview dedicated to questions I had about Nexient.
Technical interview mainly focused on discussing work experience and projects. Also was asked whether I was familiar with certain tools and concepts in addition to being asked a few basic CS questions. Interview was also about 45 minutes with the last 15 minutes for any questions I had.
Overall, both interviews were easy. Interviewers asked easy questions and they did not seem to expect too much from answers.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Nexient (Ann Arbor, MI) in Aug 2016
Interview
Was an easy set of questions asking me about why I wanted to work with them and then a simple coding quiz. The recruiter was okay but then she got promoted to and replaced by a guy who is pretty unprofessional. The offer was extremely low for the area and the feedback from the new guy was abysmal, there are better places to apply in Ann Arbor and Detroit, avoid Nexient.
