      Sales Development Representative Interview

      Mar 10, 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Dublin, Dublin
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NextRoll (Dublin, Dublin) in Dec 2017

      Interview

AdRolls Recruiter contacted me via LinkedIn. We had 2 Calls with Recruiter, 1 Mock Call with a team member and 1 On-Site interview with the Head of Sales (45min), Team Leader (45min), Account Manager (45min). I received the job offer 2 days later. Very professional from the 1 interaction. Especially at the On-Site Interview they really tried to accommodate you and even though I am normally very nervous, I felt really comfortable. Focus on Personality (good fit/ core diamand) instead of knowledge/experience.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at NextRoll in Mar 2022

      Interview

I thought that the interview went well. My interviewer hyped up the company culture and growth they had experienced over the last few years. At the end of the interview I was told that I would hear back in the next two days. I followed up the following week to see if there was any update and got no response for two weeks only to get a canned rejection response. Did not leave a great taste in my mouth at all.

      Sales Development Representative Interview

      Aug 7, 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Dublin, Dublin
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at NextRoll (Dublin, Dublin) in Jul 2017

      Interview

I was very happy with the interview process, and very impressed with the transparency and the amount of information given at each stage. About a week after being referred I was emailed by one of their recruiters to schedule the first call. This was a phone interview to mainly access how well I had researched the company and the Adtech industry, and to ask a few questions about my CV, the recruiter also explained the salary and bonus structure and gave me an overview of what the rest of the process would look like. I finished that call feeling very confident. I received an email the following morning informing me that I would be progressing to the next stage of the interview process, after which I was given a case study to familiarise myself with and a mock pitch phone call was scheduled for the following week. The mock pitch call was the most difficult part of the process for me, and although I had done a reasonable amount of research on the case study and further into the Adtech industry I didn't feel like I had performed very well, and that the gaps in my knowledge may have let me down, but the best piece of advice that I can give is to keep your confidence and don't give up during the call at all, still ask the relevant questions and even if you feel like it's going terribly make sure you're still answering their questions as best you can. After spending the rest of the day certain that I had failed the mock pitch, I was very happy to receive an email the following morning informing me that I had progressed to the on-site interviews. After the on-site interviews were scheduled I was given the names of the people who would be interviewing me. I would advise you to look into their backgrounds and their current roles at AdRoll. Before the interviews I had another call with the recruiter and she was able to give me loads of information and answer any questions that I had. The on-site interviews consisted of three back to back 45 minute interviews, each with a slightly different focus. (Relevant experience, culture, etc.). After the interviews on my way out the recruiter caught up to me and told me that she would get back to me by the end of the week (two days!). On the Friday morning I received an email to schedule a call for the Monday morning, which I was nervous about as I had read reviews saying that they will schedule a call either way, whether it is good news or bad news. Luckily on Monday the call was good news. I was very impressed with the amount of information that was made available to me at every stage of the interview process, and every employee that I spoke to made me very comfortable with AdRoll as a company.
