Nordstrom Customer Service Representative (CSR) interview questions

Temporary Seasonal Position at the credit department of the call center. Was contacted by phone for a phone interview. Was asked a series of questions: have I ever shopped at a Nordstrom's, what was my experience, if I had call center experience, tell me an instance where you had to solve a problem without the help of management, give me an example of a time where you couldn't solve a problem at work.

I applied online and received an email to choose a time for a phone interview. At the end of the phone interview I was scheduled to come in for an in person interview. After the in person interview the manager felt that I would be better suited in another department so she told me to expect a call from some one else in a couple days. I received a call from another manager with in two days and was scheduled for another interview with this new manager. I went in for that interview and at the end of it was informed that someone would get in contact with me. About a week after a manager from another department offered me a job with in a department that I had not interviewed for. I was told that she could not go into detail and that I should expect a call from the head manager at the end of the week to schedule orientation and training. Finally received that call at the end of the following week. All the women i interviewed with in person were pleasant with a very pleasant demeanor.
