The process was very professional and the hiring team answered every question that I had. It was a standard process of submitting my resume, performing a video interview, and then for the final interview they flew me out to their corporate headquarters in Atlanta.

Interview
I was brought in with several other interviewees but Norfolk Southern had arranged individual interviews with each of us. I was brought into a room with 3 NS employees who were all very friendly. It was about a 20-30 minute interview where they got to know me and I got to know what life at Norfolk Southern is like. Then I was given a company tour with the other interviewees and then we were all taken out to lunch by 3-4 NS employees. It was a unique interview process in which I got to learn about NS employees in a work and casual setting. It was also different in that I got to meet and learn about other people competing for the same position as me.
Completed online assessment a week after completing initial application. Phone Interview followed by an in-person interview two months later. Strictly behavioral questions regarding experiences listed on resume. Received an offer the following day.
