The position was a 2-step process:
Step 1 was an interview with the hiring manager and another member of their team. The interview lasted about an hour and wasn't anything out of the ordinary. They spent a few minutes telling me about the role, asked me some questions, then opened the floor to my questions.
For step 2, I had to deliver a 15-20 minute presentation on a topic of my choice to the same two individuals as well as a junior executive. They were a great audience, and after the presentation, they told me I would hear their final decision by the end of the next week.
Here's where I was most disappointed: after spending ~2 hours with them across 2 interviews, I received an automated email from their system letting me know they had decided not to move forward with me. I reached out to the hiring manager for feedback, and in response, all they sent me was an email that read, "thank you for participating in the interview process." The recruiter with whom I worked was fantastic and made sure I was well-prepared for both interviews.
