Interview
We had a presentation before the interview about the company (Norfolk Southern), and then we waited until our name was called and went into a meeting room with a group of people for the interview. You have 3 sessions with 3 different groups of people for the interview. They got back to me within 2 weeks.

Question 1
How would I handle situations when employees were doing something wrong?
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Norfolk Southern (Atlanta, GA) in Nov 2015
Interview
Norfolk Southern is a very proud company built on a sense of family. The management trainee position is a tough position to be hired for but the application process is exciting. It starts with a one-on-one interview usually at your university, then a flight to Atlanta for a second interview plus a mixer with the employees. The company knows more about you than you think, just remain honest. Do your research.

Interview
I received an email a few months after applying for the position saying that I was invited to Career Day. It consisted of an hour long overview of the company, a computer activity, and one-on-one interviews. There were four candidates that day, myself included. I was told that we should hear back within a week whether or not we were chosen for the position. They said that a phone call meant an offer was extended, an email means you were not selected, and if you do not hear anything you are being considered for another position. It has almost been two months and I have not heard anything back, and my application for the position still says in process.
