Technical interview with the hiring manager focusing on the skills required to perform the job. Then a behavioral interview with a panel including the hiring manager and a HR business partner.

Communicating poor performance ratings can be difficult. How have you handled a situation like this?
Panel interview. Two rounds. Five person panel. Hiring program director, engineering director, human resource partner, outgoing program manager, and optional division director. Interview consisted of behavior type questions during the first round and technical type of questions for the second round.
