One interview with Human Resource and then 2 more interviews with managers. Once that was completed I heard back within two weeks. They gave me the option to start when I could after leaving my previous job.
I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Shakopee, MN) in May 2019
Interview
The interview was polite and pleasant. I answered all questions in detail and was told that I had done an excellent job and would be contacted in a few days. On my way out, I asked the hiring manager about weekend plans and she mentioned taking her family to her cabin in northern MN, where my own family has a cabin less than 50 miles away. I mentioned I knew the area personally and her face turned sour, as if she was disgusted that I would relate personally to her. I thanked her professionally for her time and left, then was told 2 weeks later after following up that the job was filled by an internal candidate that was going to grow into the role.
