I applied through other source. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at ON24, Inc. (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2010
Interview
I can only compare it to an episode of the Twilight Zone. I was told during my interview I could manage my team at my own direction, only to be super micro-managed from the top down later on. The interview presented a picture of the company as highly structured and deadline driven. When in fact it was more like a Chinese fire drill on constant pre-IPO altert. Ultimately what I told and what materialized at this company were like night and day. I should have walked away from day one. My biggest career mistake. Ever.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at ON24, Inc. (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2021
Interview
Multiple video interviews with Sales management and their peers - at least 7 over 3 weeks. They use Teams for this, and it's a bit ironic. Interviewers were not prepared seemed like they were just going through the motions - some did not even know which role I was interviewing for... others were late to the calls. I did well enough to make it to a mock sales discovery and preso interview round. I was a finalist and was told a decision would be made by the week's end after that final interview. But there was no follow up by ON24 talent manager or hiring manger! Ghosted after weeks of interviewing . No "thanks, but no thanks" email or anything to provide closure. Unprofessional to say the least.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at ON24, Inc. (New York, NY) in Apr 2012
Interview
Recruited, knowing the company, position, and products thoroughly. Company reputation fully preceded itself, so there were not too many surprises. They're known for bringing in lots of new hires at once, but I was a known commodity, so it was a different process for me. I did learn some about the company cutlure
