I found out about Ora Interactive through my school's network. When I initially reached out to them they weren't hiring but a few weeks later their head of HR, Donnie, contacted me saying the QA intern position had opened up. After sending them my resume, I was contacted via email to schedule a phone interview with the head of the QA department.
The phone interview was about 30 minutes long during which you are given many opportunities to ask questions about the company, the department, and what would be expected of you as an intern. The phone interview isn't so much technical as it is a way for them to dive a bit more in depth into your resume and get to know you.
About a day or so after the phone interview, I was contacted again to come in for an in-person interview at the Ora office. The office was easy to find and everyone there was very friendly. I was greeted by Donnie and directed to the conference room where the interview would be held. Shortly after, the interview began starting with the CTO followed by one of the Product Managers, and ending with a member of the QA team.
The interview went extremely well as there was a great balance between technical questions, culture fit questions, and showcasing my portfolio. I was thoroughly impressed by how smooth the interview process was over the course of a couple of days. I was offered the position right after the interview was complete and upon accepting was taken to meet the members of the team!
