I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ollie (New York, NY) in Jan 2018
Interview
Applied online. I got an email a little over a week later requesting a phone interview. After talking to the Customer Experience Manager for 15-20 minutes I was given 4 common customer inquire questions to answer to evaluate how I would respond. One week later I was notified they would not be moving forward with my application.
They did however, tell me the next step in the process was an Ollie "Immersion" day where I would come in and simulate a typical working day working at Ollie. Sounding suspicious to be honest with you. They've been around for 2 years so the lack of employee reviews should give you cause for concern. It's common practice for a lot of start-ups to try to swindle free work days as "immersion" days. You were warned.
