Interview
I had a 15-minute phone screen with a guy from their service team. While he tried to be polite and professional, he immediately came off as bored and annoyed. The interview was clearly scripted - there were no follow-up questions to anything I said, and no other attempt to try to keep up a seamless conversation. His general response was, "That sounds good", after which he moved on to the next questions. The questions were also outdated and cliche, and there was little effort in trying to tie them in with the role. He ended the conversation with saying that they will get back to me within a week. Of course, they did not, which I anticipated. He also wished me luck with my job search, already implying that I did not make the cut.
Even if I was offered to move on with the interview process, I would have declined, as I do not think I would fit well in a team of people with such a bland, unfriendly personality. It was so painfully obvious that he tried to come off as social and interested, but clearly failing.
