Was told I was overqualified by the recruiter for the customer service rep position. Saw they posted for a service rep team lead at a later date and decided to apply. Recruiter said I'd be leading 10 service reps - but also told me the salary and it was the same amount as the service rep position I had previously applied for which doesn't make sense. Recruiter couldn't answer basic questions about the job. When I asked a specific question about the responsibilities (that wasn't listed on the job posting) she answered "well so and so does such a good job writing the job description so all the information should be there." The job was also posted as temporary which she didn't realize until I pointed it out. She also told me I was overqualified again despite me saying I was willing to take a pay cut. Not a very good experience which is a bummer because I was genuinely interested in the company.
