After applying I received a confirmation to plan my first call with a recruiter, followed by a video call with the hiring manager. The planning side is very easy and positive.

Looks like unfortunetely I wasn’t the only one who felt bad and had such an unpleasant interview with the hiring Manager from Zurich office. Everything has started with my application via LinkedIn, after that I had a great chat with a Sourcer from South Africa and after that with a senior recruiter from the UK. Both of them were deeply offering a great “candidate experience” for me as a candidate and also as ON’s costumer, until the interview with the hiring manager. :/ Mostly looked like she didn’t want to be there interviewing me. I could feel she’s focused in other things (text, email, chatting with people) despite my interview. Cold answers, arrogant comments and at the end I wasn’t just interested in working for ON anymore, but also decided never to buy anything from them again. I couldn’t help but wonder, if this senior leadership treat human resources professionals like that (I wasn’t the only one) how’s the internal environmental despite all those cool videos on youtube about respect, team building, connections? It was a great disappointment…
