I was invited for an interview for a Head of TA role. I blocked the time out of my working day, prepared thoroughly and dialed into the interview feeling excited. Nobody joined the call. I emailed and heard nothing back. After a further follow-up email almost a week later, the interview was rescheduled. Second time around, the interviewer joined but there was no apology for having missed the last scheduled call or for the delay in rescheduling. I was informed in the first five minutes of the interview that the Head of TA role was closed but would I be interested in a role as a Recruiter? Shambolic, unprofessional and utterly lacking respect for candidates' time.
