      Quality Assurance Engineer Interview

      Jan 29, 2015
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at OnDeck

      Interview

      1. Phone call with the recruiter. 2. Technical phone call with the hiring manager - Going over the background EXP, basic coding and SQL questions 3. In-person interview - Some coding concepts, Testing case thought processes Some of the interviewers for the in-person interview came in unprepared and without knowledge about my experience. There were times they just didn't even have much to say or ask. Half the time they seemed uninterested and were just there because their boss had sent them to show. I did not get an offer from them and I think the disinterest is mutual. One of the most terrible interviews I've had so far.

      Question 1

Nothing out of the ordinary. But you might have a tough time because they didn't seem to be good at explaining their problem statement.
