      Sales Director Interview

      May 4, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      New York, NY
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at OnDeck (New York, NY) in Feb 2015

      Interview

Interviewed with three different people. Only one seemed to have a good handle on the role that I was interviewing for. The first person to interview me raised a red flag when she asked me "why do you want to work here if you already have a job?" The last person to interview me basically told me that he has high expectations and would tolerate nothing less. I thought to myself "Great, warn me about firing me before you even hire me." I found the entire process to be somewhat discouraging and I could tell that I more than likely would not fit into or like the company culture.
