I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Onelife Fitness in Jan 2013
Interview
Easy, hired right away, short interview process and offered the position. Any young talented person could do it. They ask all the normal basic questions, but most important is why do you want to work in sales. Dont come in completely unprepared.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Onelife Fitness (Washington, DC) in Jan 2015
Interview
submitted application online, heard back in ~3 weeks. interview is informal and relaxed. you just talk to them about yourself. they ask some questions about customer service/ background info. it's more about seeing if you're the right type of person for the job than whether you're qualified or not.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Onelife Fitness
Interview
Ashburn, VA location. I was fully qualified. The interview lasted over and hour and a half and I was introduced to staff members as if I was being welcomed aboard. But, I never heard back from them. I didn't even get an email to thank me for interviewing and to let me know they hired someone else. I sincerely think they found someone younger. I believe age discrimination was a factor. I have my Personal Training certification as well as years of experience in sales and marketing but I'm middle aged. I can't think of any other reason they didn't hire me. I was disappointed, especially because I felt they led me on to believe I was being hired.
