I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at OpenGov (Boston, MA)
Interview
I would steer clear of interviewing for this company. I spent a month and a half's time interviewing for OpenGov only to have them give me an offer verbally and rescinding it the next day. I truly never experienced anything like that in my entire working career. Their reference process is a bit strange as well. They ask you to provide references prior to finishing your interviews which is something that is usually done post-interview process. I've read from other Glassdoor reviews that there's been accusations of cold-calling references so there's also that. All in all, they handle their hiring process unprofessionally and I would not recommend interviewing with them.

Question 1
Tell me about a time where you had to manage a stakeholder's expectation for a project or a task.
Was fairly easy but after I received an offer I asked for them to give me a few days to discuss with my family before making a big decision. They did not give me the time to do this and tried to give me a less than 24 hour turnaround. They also continued to push me on the phone. I ended up accepting with another company.
I applied online. I interviewed at OpenGov in Sep 2025
