Interview
osu does panel/group interviews so you will be in a conference room with 3 to 6 people who would be your managers, peers/coworkers, or customers(from another department), then background/criminal check, fingerprint check, a long process.
difficulty depends on which questions, interviewed for several accounting positions - some felt easy and comfortable but others felt tense and sweaty! Some I didn't get and others I am still waiting to hear back...

I have had two interviews for two different jobs at OSU. Both included a panel of ~5 people who took turns asking questions. They were friendly and asked pretty typical interview questions.

Interview
Applied online and had a initial phone interview. Came in person and heard back within a week. They encouraged me to keep applying and got back to me in a timely manner. I’ve interviewed at multiple places and by far OSU has been the most professional and efficient.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Oregon State University (Corvallis, OR) in Jul 2017
Interview
Submitted my application online, and was contacted within 1-3 weeks after the job date closed. I was interviewed through a phone call, then a week later by a search committee that consisted of 4-5 people (essentially your future coworkers). It would have been in-person, but I did it through Skype because I was living in a different state at the time. After the interview, I got a phone call the next week saying I was offered the position. Went through background check and referrals.
