(Interviews took place when I was living in Ireland) I went through the entire process over a number of weeks, including multiple calls with the recruiter, a first round video interview with two people, and a final round interview with two people including a more senior member of the team. For the final round, I prepared a presentation on a given topic, which I put quite some work into. After this, I was given feedback that the team were impressed with my work and I was delighted to be offered the job, which I verbally accepted. I was told the contract would follow shortly, but days later it still hadn't come through so I followed up with the recruiter. I was told the delay was due to a member of the team being out of office, which I completely understood. However, after a few more days passed, I followed up again, quite concerned that I had verbally accepted this job and still hadn't heard anything else. Eventually I was called back and told that there was some kind of internal mistake and the job no longer existed. Really poor experience and so disappointing, as I was thrilled about the opportunity. I was really let down by how it was handled, and the fact that I had to chase for an answer for way too long. Would not interview for the company again.
