I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Outreach (Indianapolis, IN) in Mar 2022
Interview
I interviewed for an L1 Front-End Engineer role. Interview process was 100% remote. I was contacted by the Hiring manager on LinkedIn, followed by a "phone interview" (very casual) with the recruiter. At this point, I was scheduled for a technical review with another developer where I had about 45 minutes to solve an algorithm and talk through my process. I received feedback the following day when I was asked to return for an interview loop. This was a 6 hour long interview with 4 parts. The first was a design interview where I talked conceptually about programming design. The next was a pair programming activity where I had about an hour and a half to complete some front-end programming where I was given a screenshot of a UI and was to copy that process in a sandbox using the language of my choice. The next two interviews were more fluff. I spoke with the Product Manager about processes and with the hiring manager again where he gave me immediate feedback from the previous interviews and gave me time to ask questions. They called the following day to tell me I would be receiving an offer.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Outreach (Seattle, WA) in May 2023
Interview
The interview was for a front-end L1 engineer. Recruiter call -> Phone screen. Didn't make it past the phone screen even though I solved the question perfectly 20 minutes before time. The interview itself wasn't that hard, but there were just too many well qualified candidates.

Tell me something technical that you learned recently and why was it interesting. Technical question was an intervals question, similar to "merge intervals" on LC.

Process was smooth and the recruiter was great about describing the expectations of the interview, the job position, and the company. Met with many people on the team I was interviewing for.
