I applied through college or university. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at PBF Energy (Los Angeles, CA) in Nov 2019
Interview
I spoke with a recruiter at a university career fair, while I concurrently applied to the position online. I heard back with a phone call for a one-on-one, which was on campus, about 2 weeks later.
Interview itself had almost none of the typical "interview" questions, besides tell me about yourself. It appeared they were more focused on asking me about what I did in extracurriculars and previous internships, and to see if I actually did what I claimed to have done.
The process was fairly quick. Was asked about availability about 3 weeks after the interview, and got an offer 2 weeks after that by email.
I applied online. I interviewed at PBF Energy (Long Beach, CA)
Interview
Phone Interview, another phone interview, then in flown in with a full day interview. It was good, relatively simple questions, and did about 5 separate interviews. There weren't any truly difficult technical questions, very basic common sense with applied thermodynamics knowledge.
Lengthy interview process, on-site visit, appropriate for the role however. Lunch was provided which was a plus. Overall team seemed okay, a bit smug if anything but that happens with engineers

Interview
It started off with an initial phone in interview. The second interview was a STAR interview with 2-3 management team members. Typical star questions with situation task action results format
