Interview
New grad interview at Downey PIH. One interviewer, was very nice. Asked what I would do in certain scenarios with patients, why I wanted to work at PIH, where do I see myself in five years, asked about challenges in nursing school and previous jobs. Overall good experience and staff seems friendly.
The interview had both general and clinical questions. They asked me for my schedule. They also asked me what I see myself doing in 5 years. Although my interview was over Zoom with a group panel, I heard other departments can be in-person.
Expect a panel interview and a series of behavioral, personal, and situational questions. Was also asked some clinical questions which took a chunk of the interview. Overall the interview was pretty expected
New grad - went in a auditorium and they had multiple tables with 1 person each interviewing candidates. It’s educators, director, managers, charge nurse. They ask prioritization, your thoughts about the population we serve, why PIHGSH.
