I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at PeopleReady in May 2014
Interview
Initial corporate recruiter phone screen/interview with a True Blue recruiter. This role is new to the Labor Ready agency setting, and obviously corporate recruiters knew what to look for. I got an interview with a local district manager in 1-2 weeks. Spent about an hour or so discussing working with a transient, low skilled work force, dealing with personalities, handling stress, and my previous recruiting experience, opportunities for growth from here. It was then another 2 months before I got a job offer because the market I lived in was under going some consolidation and restructuring, as well as additional corporate acquisitions, but maintaining contact with corporate recruiters kept me in the loop.
The interviewer seemed extremely unorganized and not prepared for the interview. The compensation did not match the market standard for the role. Rated neutral only because the interviewer was nice.
