I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at PermitFlow
Interview
Really long interview cycle with way too many steps. Felt like they wanted to 'be smart' by making the interview process unnecessarily difficult and tedious. Phone screen, interview with manager (who was great), interview with head of sales, interview with the CEO for an SDR role for 'culture fit' then two reference checks, one from a hiring manager and in some cases from senior leadership explicitly required a reference check from your current actual boss at the job you're trying to get away from which is a huge burden of ethics.

Question 1
Sales style, all the basic stuff honestly. The SDR manager was the only one who seemed genuinely interested in me and my professional development. I don't think anyone else on the hiring panel had any sales experience.
Interview process was quick- intro/screener call with recruiter, then I met with the SDR Manager, then the Head of Sales, then the CEO, then a 'mock' call with SDR Manager, then offer. Overall very good experience, quick feedback loop.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PermitFlow (New York, NY) in Feb 2025
Interview
Overall very, collected and organized process.
Very Similar to the interview at Salesforce for BDR.
First Round - Screener with HR
Second Round - Call with team manager
Third Round/Final Onsite - Meet head of Sales + a Shadowing
