I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Perry Homes (Plano, TX) in Dec 2021
Interview
Interview process was very positive. Zoom interview with HR to make sure you're a real person and interested in the role. Second interview with VP of Construction, professional yet very personable. Take the time to get to know you and make sure you're a good fit. Typical interview questions that felt more like conversation versus a script.
Tips to people interviewing:
Don't let lack of construction experience intimidate you, it's not required. I don't have any and got an offer. Customer service, strong interest in construction, and self-motivated worker is what they are really looking for. ASK QUESTIONS!!
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Perry Homes (Houston, TX) in Mar 2021
Interview
Multiple interviews, very professional people and they will reach back out in a timely manner. They are knowledgeable about what they do and are honest and upfront from the start. They were a pleasure to deal with
Great process! Was contacted by phone and asked to schedule a time to come into the company headquarters for a face to face interview. She asked a number of questions that catered to the position I was applying for. But asked a few questions out of left field. I guess to see how you react and can think on your feet.
